PlayStreets! programs

Announcement

PlayStreets is a collaborative program sponsored by the Chicago Department of Public Health, which supports healthier and stronger communities. These events focus on creating safe and accessible residential play areas for kids to be active, to learn, and for neighbors to come together.

PlayStreets events are back!

We have several PlayStreets! events planned for this summer, in locations all over Garfield Park, with our partners Ridgeway Block Club, Legler Library, and more!

We are grateful for the support of our local delegate agency Gads Hill Center, which helps administer PlayStreets events in Garfield Park and beyond.

Virtual PlayStreets with Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance

Check out the video below for virtual fun from the Garfield Park Conservatory - with new activities and some older ones from last year's PlayStreets! Learn how to make and do these fun projects: Bug Galls Crafts, Paper Flowers, Notebooks Decorating, Face Mask Decorating, Superhero Capes, and Corn Husk Dolls!
