Smita Nair is a downstate Illinois native and data ethicist. She's passionate about housing justice and digital literacy. She has experience in aging-in-place care and three years of volunteer experience with her own Township's homelessness services. Prior to joining GPCC, she taught high school English in North Philadelphia through Americorp's City Year. She holds a B.S. in Information Science from UIUC, with minors in Political Science and Creative Writing.
