Phillip is a second-year Master's student of the Department of Public Policy, Management, and Analytics at the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government minor in International Relations from UIC, Chicago.
Before his role as a Data Analyst at Garfield Park Community Council as an AmeriCorps Vista member (since 2022), he served as a Graduate Assistant with the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Assessment, and Planning at UIC, contributing to various Projects Management.
His dedication was recognized during his first year of service as an AmeriCorps Vista member at the Garfield Park Community Council when he received the Community Service Award from the Chicago Department of Housing in partnership with the Micro Market Recovery Program( MMRP), now known as the Chicago Neighborhood Recovery Program CNRP.
