
Eleanor Kole is GPCC's Wellness Associate. She works directly with the Neighborhood Market and Garden Network. She has been passionate about growing and supplying food to those who need it most from a young age. She previously worked within Gardeneers, Chicago Food Policy Action Council, and Gary Comer Youth Center.
She is active within the Garfield Park community through the Garfield Park Conservatory, Sankofa Wellness Village, her work within gardens throughout the neighborhood, and at the Hatchery with the Neighborhood Market. She is a member of several committees: Nutrition Programming for Sankofa Wellness Village, The Eco-Friendly Mobile Farm Stand Project, and Hyde Park Garden Fair. She has worked in agriculture, culinary, consumer packaged goods, market research, and retail industries. She has a Master's in Market Research and a Bachelor's in Food Industry Management with a minor in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems.
