Chicago’s Community Re-Entry Support Centers

Re-Entry support is available for residents through the City of Chicago Family and Support Services.

The Hatchery

Inspiration Kitchens

Inspiration Kitchens offers Job Training for individuals over the age of 18 who are interested in learning to cook professionally a free, 12-week training program is free, where participants earn food handler and sanitation manager certificates, and receive job placement assistance. 

The Greater West Town Training Project

The Greater West Town Training Project provides two sector-based training programs: A Woodworkers Training Program and  a Shipping and Receiving Training Program, both designed to help match the needs of area manufacturers and local workers. 

Impact Culinary Program

Impact Culinary Program professionally trains young people to become chefs in some of Chicago’s most prestigious restaurants. The program recruits in Chicago’s West Side.
