Community Run for Breast Cancer Awareness

On October 24th, from 9am - 12pm, we are co-hosting the first Community Run for Breast Cancer Awareness with Peace Runners 773! We will provide a route for the run closer to the date, but it will end at the Garfield Park Neighborhood Market. This year, the Run will be led by our ambassador Mattie Buckley, a breast cancer survivor, and we will be honoring a fallen angel, LaTanya Spiller, who our community lost this year to breast cancer. We hope that you will join us to honor LaTanya's memory by raising awareness about how to treat, prevent, and care for our community members who have been impacted by breast cancer. The run will be followed by a time for remembrance for LaTanya and beloved community members who we have lost and celebration of survivors like Mattie.

We would like to invite you to join us to build a supportive community for those who have been impacted by this disease. Registration includes an option to purchase a t-shirt at $15 per t-shirt. Registration closes on September 24!
