Learn more about The Hatchery

Chicago Mayor's Office

The Hatchery is a food business incubator that opened in late 2018 in East Garfield Park. The 67,000 square foot facility is at the corner of Lake and Kedzie in Chicago’s Garfield Park neighborhood. Allies for Community Business, which provides the capital, coaching, and collaboration entrepreneurs need to grow great businesses, and ICNC, which runs one of the largest business incubators in the country, are the joint venture partners and building owners. The Hatchery Chicago is a non-profit food and beverage business incubator that enables local entrepreneurs to build and grow successful businesses. Those successful businesses, in turn, create economic growth and new job opportunities in their communities.

The Hatchery is also the new home of the Garfield Park Neighborhood Market. To become a vendor, fill out a Market Vendor Application, or contact Angela Taylor for more information.
