New Mural Project Concludes: NCP Continues to Beautify the Community

For over five years, the GPCA's New Communities Program has used a blend of creativity and community organizing to engage residents, businesses and elected officials. This summer, a new mural was added to the landscape of East Garfield Park. The piece, the third overall by the NCP program, was coordinated by Rishona Taylor who used the artistic talents of local teens. Located at California and Van Buren, this mural inspires and beautifies.
