Hatchery: Accounting & Finance for Startups

In this introductory course, we will take a look at the basics of accounting, financial statements, and financial analyses – specifically as it relates to food & beverage companies. We’ll go through accounting methodology for important aspects of the business, as well as key KPI’s to track as you grow. About the presenter: Alex Corral is a former Big 4 CPA with significant corporate experience in the food & beverage and e-commerce space. He has a unique skillset of having both an accounting / US GAAP background and strong financial analysis acumen. He has a passion for taking a company’s vision and translating it to numbers, whether it be Controller duties, US GAAP compliance, financial modeling (forecasts and projections), buy-side / sell-side diligence, inventory forecasting, etc. Currently, he’s an Accountrepreneur and has been helping food and beverage companies in every facet of accounting/finance, so they can focus on what they do best – growing their business!
