This daylong conference is dedicated to public information and features panels and workshops with leading journalists, attorneys and community groups. From beginners to veterans of the Freedom of Information Act, we’ll help boost your skills to better understand public records and produce more impactful investigations.

Tickets include continental breakfast and lunch.

Who: Our keynote speaker is Todd Wallack, an investigative and data reporter for the Boston Globe’s Spotlight team. He’s a four-time Pulitzer finalist, including in 2018 for a series that explored racism in Boston. Prior to joining the Globe, Wallack worked for the San Francisco Chronicle, the Dayton Daily News and the Boston Herald. He’s a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
