Our Vendors
Image of Neighborhood Market from 2019
At the Garfield Park Neighborhood Market, we not only value racial equity and justice, we also put it into practice. In a December 2019 survey, we found that 12% of our vendors identify as Latinx and 56% as Black or of African descent. Additionally, 33% of our vendors are businesses are owned by women!
We are excited to announce that we have created an extension of our site to have a space to showcase many of our vendors online. Our Virtual Market is meant to be a way for our vendors to reach our community despite the limitations of our in-person Neighborhood Market in this era of social distancing.
